Rolex Submariner: worth buying or just hype?

    I’m thinking about a Rolex Submariner but I don’t know much about watches. It looks nice and everyone talks about it, but the price makes me hesitant. Is it really worth the money or just a status thing? Also worried about fakes and service costs.
