Paul_buyer02I’ve had a Sub for a couple years and after the first week it just melts into your wrist—bracer/clam is really comfy and it totally works as a daily. It’s mechanically solid and reliable, but remember it’s a mechanical watch so expect occasional regulation and a proper service every 7–10 years, which can run from a few hundred to over a thousand depending on what needs doing. If you want a rugged, versatile piece that looks great with jeans or a suit it’s practical, but yeah it’s overkill if you just want a no-fuss beater you won’t mind replacing. Personally I enjoy it and the resale peace-of-mind, but don’t buy solely for hype.
