Nice score — I’d be grinning too. Hesalite does scratch way easier than sapphire, but most owners treat those little scuffs as character (and they polish out with PolyWatch or have Omega buff them), so if you like the authentic look it’s a reasonable tradeoff. The manual wind is a lovely ritual once you get used to it — wind at the same time each day and it fades into your routine — and if you really worry about dings, rotate straps or use it as a weekend beater rather than a yardwork watch.
